Today was a really good day. First off, I got to sleep in - something I hadn't done in what felt like ages. We decided to go look for some breakfast and ended up at Tesco for their
£2 meal deals. I got a sandwich, blue powerade (starting my obsession) and some unsalted trail mix (unsalted = big mistake). Ready to go, we began our hike to King Arthur's seat. It was a fun (and cold) hike to the top!
After climbing back down, warming up in a scarf shop (and of course buying some plaid scarves) we headed over to take a look at the castle & get a group picture.
Following that, we went to look for a place to have our Thanksgiving feast. How about the cafe that J,.K. Rowling (supposedly) started writing HP in? Okay! I had a lamb meat pie, mashed potatoes and apple pie.
Stuffed to the max, we headed outside and found ourselves in the middle of a winter wonderland (complete with fireworks). Yes, edinburgh is AWESOME.

These photos are spectacular-- every single one of them! The one of Ben on the trail is just priceless.
I'm so glad you had such a fun getaway to Scotland and quite the unique Thanksgiving feast there. Good times.
May I just say how happy I am that I randomly bumped into you and your cool friends on Westminster Bridge that perfect evening back in September? Talk about serendipity...
