memorial day weekend

A few pictures from our Memorial Day weekend ... 

Danny's grandparents invited us all over to their cabin on Saturday evening for a get together! It was so fun to see everyone! And of course I loved watching the ReAL Salt Lake game with all the youngins. It was a crazy game, as you can see from the pictures ... :) (Thanks, Jess!)

I love this new family of mine. :)

On Sunday we got the chance to hear Danny's dad and brother Matt speak in church! So of course we couldn't pass that up ...

For Memorial day, our friends Preston and Lindsay invited us over for a BBQ at their new place!

unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of us actually at the BBQ, but here we are on our way!

All in all, it was a very fun weekend spent with lots of our loved ones!

hannah's graduation

Today Hannah graduated from high school! She's all grown up! I can't believe it. In just a few short months she'll be moving even closer to me to go to the U! I loved living near Allie & Danny while I was at BYU, so I'm glad that Dan and I can be there for Hannah during her first year! 

Congrats, Han! The U is so lucky to get you! xo

happy birthday, mom!

Today we celebrated my mom's birthday! It included flowers, cupcakes, and a little Zupa's. I had so much fun sitting around the table with my mom, dad, and Hannah for a few short hours. I will definitely miss our ridiculous and hilarious table conversations. 

My mom is such an amazing woman. It takes just one conversation with her and then suddenly you're BFFs. (For those of you that have met her, am I right?!) I wish I was that good with people.

moving day

A few weeks ago, my family helped Allie move out of her apartment in Provo. It involved Mark and I hiding in boxes, eating ice cream cones (Mark stole the last bit of mine), and playing with (Danny R's) toys one last time before they were all packed up. 

After their short stay with my parents, those two are now reunited with their daddy & husband in Georgia! Oh how I miss them so ... 

wrapping up

Last month I took my last set of finals. (Ever!) They were all scheduled for the first day of finals week, so it was pretty nice to quickly get them over with. A few photos ...

2: 14 hours later -- (done!) I stopped off at Allie's to have a bite to eat. (Mark and I were both pretty tired!) 

3: But we still had the energy to do a few jumps ... 

I can't tell you how good it feels to be done! No more homework, no more tests, no more papers! :)

happy birthday, dad!

Tonight we celebrated my dad's birthday! It was so fun to have my family over to our little apartment. It was the first (and last) time we'd all be together in our place here!

The fun included CPK take-out, chocolate cake, balloons, Chariots of Fire (my Dad's all-time favorite movie), and lots of hugs. Especially with the little blond guy. Happy birthday, Dad! You know how I love you so!
