I was reading through GQ's 50 Most Stylish Men of the Past 50 Years this morning, and I came across Bob Dylan. Look at him, what a stud! Favorite Dylan songs anyone?

the best banana bread ever.

Today I baked one of my favorite recipes -- the banana bread from The Lion House. You guys, it's SO good! I usually have to make two loaves because it disappears so quickly! 

½ cup butter 

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 cup mashed bananas

¼ cup milk

1 teaspoon lemon juice

2 cups flour

1½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup chopped nuts

Optional:

1 teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon cloves

¼ teaspoon nutmug

Mix together the wet ingredients. Sift in the dry ingredients. Pour into greased bread pan. Bake at 350°F for 60 minutes.

Last weekend I had the fun experience of having four of my teeth yanked out. Yes, that's right, my wisdom teeth. Fortunately, I've had my amazing mother to wait on me, hand and foot. Thank you, mom!

It hasn't been too bad. It just hurts to eat. A lot. And then it hurts some more. I've had fun reading, sleeping, watching favorite movies & tv shows. However, I do miss my friends more than I can say.
