atlanta: coca-cola factory and downtown

On my second to last day in Atlanta we went to the Coca-Cola Factory! The tour starts out in a room filled with old-school Coca-Cola memorabilia.

After watching a movie, you get to wander through different rooms that show you how Coca-cola came to be. It's very hands on and super fun for kids!

Here, you could turn the different handles to try and recreate the recipe for Coke.
This is the vault where they (supposedly) keep the original recipe for Coke.
At the end of the tour, you get to taste different Coca-Cola products from all around the world.
Mark was loving it. :)
Before you leave the factory, you get to pick up a Coke in a classic glass bottle. :)

On my last day in Atlanta, Allie, Danny, and Mark took me into Downtown Atlanta. We strolled through the historic Underground, a shopping and entertainment district that dates from the post civil war era! Be still, my American history-loving heart.

Cooling off fries at Johnny Rockets. :)

That concludes my "Adventures in Georgia" series! Thank you, Allie, for being a wonderful host and tour guide! I can't wait to come back and see you all!
