First surprise: lunch at Shoyu Sushi House in Park City
Danny loves sushi. And all-things-Japanese really. (Speaking of Japanese lovers, have you seen this? Hilarious!) So of course, we had to get sushi. Shoyu is a little place with only a few tables, but it was perfect for the two of us -- cozy and very yummy!
Second surprise: Scenic Lift Ride at the Park City Mountain Resort
Park City offers an hour long scenic ride on their ski lifts during the summer! (And it's only $11!) The ride was so relaxing and beautiful. And look at the views! I love our Rocky Mountains. :)
Third surprise: a surprise family party at Danny's parents' house!
I told Danny that my next surprise was a scavenger hunt and that the first clue was at his parents' house. This was so that I could get him to the house without giving the real surprise away! He was totally caught off guard when we walked in and everyone began singing "happy birthday"!
