Even with our busy schedules, Danny found time to make Valentine's day very special. He recreated one of our dates (an indoor picnic) and had it all set up when I got to his house -- a rose, a candle, sparkling cider, fancy grilled cheese sandwiches, chocolate covered cinnamon bears and all!
We spent the evening snuggled up, catching up on all our favorite TV shows (New Girl, Parks and Rec, How I Met You Mother ... you know.) It was so relaxing and absolutely perfect. :)
For gifts, I gave Danny a poem I'd been working on for the past little while, and he surprised me with this and a mix cd!
I hope you all had a fun and special day spent with those you love - husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, family members, roommates, best friends, pets and all! :)
P.S. It's a week later and my rose is sitting here on my desk, still looking gorgeous. Thanks, Danny!
