god bless us, every one!

I know I am a little late in the game, but I just wanted to take a few minutes and wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I hope each of you were able to enjoy this special day with your own fun traditions and loved ones. We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast, opened gifts, cooked and ate a Christmas feast, and went to see Harry Potter 7! Definite success.

I've tried really hard this year to remember the reason we celebrate Christmas. I think Allie said it best in her family Christmas letter, "How grateful we are for a Savior who makes the difficult, possible and the flawed, perfect." This past year has been quite the year. I've had some major growing and eye-opening experiences. But through it all, there was one thing I was absolutely certain of: my Savior was never far away and I knew somehow he would make it all okay. This is true for all of us. Even in the craziest of moments, when it seems as though the world has turned upside down or even against us, our Savior is near and so very willing to help us if we let him.

May we always remember the significance of our King, born among stable animals, so very long ago. God bless you all!

Yes, SM. You rock. Or should I say... yesSMyourock. Hahaha I think I am so funny. I don't even know why you guys do that. I just started copying you one day. Anyway, thanks for such a fun Christmas! Loved seeing HP with you guys. Let's do movies/dates/dinners, etc more often. We CAN do that, now that you're home! Love you!
