She was a (hip) twentysomething and saw that I was struggling to find what was actually detergent as opposed to fabric softener. She kindly took me under her wing and went through all the best options. In the end I decided to get the same kind as her since her "mum has been using it for years." And because she was really cool and I wanted to be just like her.
Also, we overheard a few Brits saying, "American accents!" They were pretty excited to overhear us. But not as excited as we were to overhear them.

Well, you may actually run into this cool, hip, twentysomething, lovely lady at the Tesco market again if you go back on the same day, around the same time! Most Europeans shop at their local markets several times a week, as opposed to one big grocery shop every other week.
What about the super cool laundry detergent that YOUR mum gave you yesterday as she was leaving for the USA??? It's good stuff, Sarah-Kate!
ha ha. i love this! and you! and i wish we called mom "mum". let's start that, shall we? xoxo
go london niki.

c: yoshi gave me the "ok" on bouncing the week of thanksgiving..do you know what that means?
d: eminem's new cd is stellar
e: I had a very unpleasant experience at the hospital the other day, the nurse was ext. spacey. It was laughably hilarious. Slash painful.
f: nutella is a new fixture in our household. I'm excited.

Ok--
a) Hannah is a twit.
b) Since when did she adopt my ABC list approach to responding???
c) She forgets that I am HALF European. I was born there and have lived there for over four years-- one as a baby; three as an adult. I think I know what I'm talking about. (And I can't help it if my natural manner of speaking mirrors that which may be found in a guidebook. Whatev.) What a little twit.
HOW ARE YOU DOING, SARAH-KATE??? Update soon! xo
PS- I just remembered that you are in Canterbury today! Geoffrey Chaucer rocks!!! (Mind if I call you 'Geoff' for short- hahaha!) I hope you have a cool tale to tell when you get back.
