President Ronald Reagan uttered those famous words: "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"
We celebrated the "Mauerfall" in German class by "tearing down" and eating a rice crispy treat wall. And it tasted delicious - literally and figuratively. From here in America, to all those in Germany (as well as all who were so greatly affected by it), happy 20th anniversary of the Mauerfall!!

I will never forget hearing Pres. Reagan's tone when he gave that mandate. I miss that man.
I still have the Washington Post from that day with the incredible photos.
