dear, i thought i'd drop a line.

so a few noteworthy things from the last seven days ...

spring is here! it was fifty-two degrees outside today! :)

remember me. so nice, i saw it twice. people ask me what it's about, but it's slightly hard to explain. you just have to see it. it's a movie that will make you feel every single possible human emotion. the best way i can think to describe it: it's a movie about life. more about our little outing (& rob pattinson) here.

three birthdays. apparently march is the cool month to be born in, who knew? anyhow, we partied it up! can you say redneck party and pancake lunch? a very happy birthday to rachael, rob, and tylor! three of the coolest kids on the block.

have you seen this incredible giveaway? chelsea, you're an all-star.

i spent some quality time with my rockstar of a cousin, spencer, who came to check out the Y!

and lastly, there were llamas on campus today. no big deal.

one last hurrah for vancouver, 2010!

I happened upon this olympics commercial via A Cup of Jo and I absolutely love it! What a clever idea.

"guys, we are so epic. i love us." - rob hintze

happy birthday wilbey!
today, march 3rd, my good friend william turns the ripe old age of twenty-three. to celebrate, ahlin and i planned a little dinner at the pizza pie cafe. (which is delicious, by the way.)

this is the look he gave us when he found out we were paying for him.
"he kind of looks like a cartoon." - ahlin

"this pizza is like a back massage for my tongue." - will
seriously, who is this kid? and where was he the first twenty years of my life?

i like to call this series, "death by dessert pizza".
it was SO good.

and this one, "it takes us four times before we can get a decent smiling picture".

other great pictures ...

and naturally, some group shots ...
(yes, will is staring down his pizza in that last one.)

all in all the night was a success!
i'm pretty sure i burned as many calories as i ate by laughing with these kids.

when people have birthdays, we usually say what we like about them.

will, this is what we like about you:
you helped rob solve a rubik's cube
you make us all things that we can use.
(dishes for your apt, claws for me to scare ahlin with ...)
98% of the things you say are hilarious
(the other 2% is left for seriousness.)
i like that you entertain me during art history.
(if not for you, i'm pretty sure i would fall asleep every class period.)
ahlin and i like that you blog with us. and let us hang with you. all the time.

pretty much, you are just awesome all around.
happy birthday!
