I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas holiday! I had lots of fun and laughter with my beautiful family. And guess what?! Thanks to my mom and dad, I've now got a trip planned to SAN FRANCISCO in early March! I am so excited ... I love love love that city! So if you all have any suggestions of things I need to do/places i need to visit - let me know!

As I've been reflecting upon the last thirteen weeks, I've realized that I have had awesome professors (and teachers). I always hear stories about crazy professors that give ridiculous assignments and have unrealistic expectations for their students.  I have yet to have a professor like that. (Cross your fingers that I don't!) 

Not only have I had level-headed and accommodating professors during my time here at the Y, they've been some of the most inspirational people I've ever known. Not only have I learned such a great deal and had my views and horizons expanded, my testimony of our Savior has grown so much. So to them, I just want to say: thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

the long-awaited battle studies.

A few weeks ago, as a pre-christmas gift, my sweet friend Marki bought me John Mayer's new record, "Battle Studies". I'd been dying to hear this album the moment I read about it on JM's blog about a year ago. And finally it came out. It's definitely become a staple to my music collection, and I most certainly recommend it!
