"You'll need coffee shops and sunsets and road trips. Airplanes and passports and new songs and old songs, but people more than anything else. You will need other people and you will need to be that other person to someone else, a living breathing screaming invitation to believe better things."

atlanta: a tent, lake lanier, and giorgios

My third day in Atlanta was for indoor and outdoor adventures. That morning Mark (aka Batman) and I put up a tent for watching movies and snacking in ...

That afternoon Allie took us to the beautiful Lake Lanier ...

I think he was looking for sticks to build another castle. He's the cutest.

For dinner we picked up a pizza from Giorgio's. If you watched Ashley's season of the Bachelorette, you'll know that Giorgio's is Constantine's restaurant. Being that Constantine is our favorite contestant to ever grace the Bachelor franchise, a trip to his restaurant was definitely on my Atlanta bucketlist.

conference weekend

As I mentioned in my Easter post, I love Springtime! One of the many reasons for this is because I get to participate in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' semi-annual General Conference!

During these conferences (which happen in April and October), the leaders of my church get together and share messages of comfort, what we believe, instruction, inspiration, and hope. Anyone can attend, tune in on TV, listen online, or access the talks after conference.

I always look forward to General Conference because of the way it edifies me, rejuvenates me, encourages me, comforts me, and brings me closer to Christ.

I wanted to make a treat for this weekend, so I pulled out a mix for raspberry white chocolate chip scones that I received from a student over Christmas. They were absolutely delicious! Since they were a mix I won't be posting a recipe for them, but I'm looking for recipes to make some from scratch! I'd love any suggestions! :)

For those that tuned into Conference, what were your favorite talks?
